Kelsey first joined Envelope in 2021 in the Wellington office, working across projects throughout the country while developing a strong interest in laser scanning technology and efficient surveying processes.
In 2024, she headed overseas to explore new places, perspectives, and experiences before rejoining Envelope in late 2026 — this time in the newly opened Christchurch office, where she now works across projects throughout the South Island and beyond.
Kelsey also brings her love of mindfulness into the workplace, leading regular yoga and meditation sessions for the crew — a welcome reset in the middle of busy project life.
If you asked Kelsey to fill you in on her overseas adventures, you’d probably need a very large pot of tea and several hours of oohing and ahhing. But some of the highlights she’d tell you about would have to be hiking in the Himalayas, meditating at a Buddhist monastery, teaching at a school in Nepal, and learning the critical life skill of making proper samosas.
Outside of work, Kelsey likes to keep busy — from bush walks and dips in the ocean, to diving into a good book. She enjoys discovering great vegan food spots, spending time with friends and family, and grooving to local music.
